Each of our Elwha River fungal diversity survey field trips will meet at the main presentation stage at the Clallam County fairgrounds for project orientation. Shuttles will depart from the fairgrounds to take attendees to the research zones. Attendees will have a chance to visit the former Lake Aldwell site, a restoration site since the removal of the dam, and areas of less disturbed conifer forest upstream from the former lake bed.
